Where Are They Now - Academy Grad Update
As part of the upcoming 2011 North Texas All-Academy Holiday Ball, we will be continuing a program element of the 2010 Holiday Ball evening program called, “Where are They now?” The purpose is to provide the current Cadets and Mids with a quick, visual update on what their now-graduated friends are doing out in the “real” military world. While being fun and informative for the Cadets and Mids, it will also expose parents to some of the career choices that their sons and daughters might experience.
The format for this segment of the ball program will be very simple and no audio or verbal announcements will be made. The video only program will run during the reception as well as when guests are being seated for the start of the evening program, and possibly during dinner.
Instead of requesting the “formal” photo used for the Firstie Bios, we’d like the “Where are They now” photos to be more of an informal, candid shot that reflects in some way your son or daughter’s current assignment, (see example slide below). We respectively ask that the photos not be of their leave or vacation times.
